LONDON:The European Medicines Agency today approved the release of a new prescription card for AstraZeneca's prescription-only Nexium® in patients aged 65 and over.
AstraZeneca has now released a new card containing a savings card of up to £30 for the first three months of a 14-year-old patient with a heart condition. The new card is free of charge. It is also available in a savings card available to the NHS.
The new savings card applies for a 14-year-old patient with a diagnosis of heart disease, and includes a 14-year-old patient with a prescription for AstraZeneca's medication Nexium® and a 14-year-old patient with a prescription for AstraZeneca's medication Protonix®.
AstraZeneca, which has the rights to use the savings card, is a major player in the European market for Nexium®. The AstraZeneca Nexium® savings card is available on the UK Medicines Supermarket.
The savings card is not free, but the savings card can be used for up to 14 years. It can be used for patients aged 65 and over.
